Green School & Cluj-Napoca Volunteering Centre | Cluj-Napoca, Romania
We invite you to Green School in its mission to help children to become adults that live a good life, in their own definition. Join our self-directed, agile, nature-based school and kindergarten! Bring your (interior) world and culture for the children to learn from it!
4 days per week you will be surrounded by the Green School children and educators. You will team up with them and you are invited to make different educational offerings from your own passions, culture and interests. For growing more empathetic, social-smart, nature-smart children, the team of volunteers will have as offerings: Peace Education, Education for Sustainable Development, Human Rights and Global Education. We also need you to help us grow our own vegetables, herbs and flowers and to feed our dog and cats with food, care and love.
We will support you in discovering this topics, in understanding how to create learning opportunities for children (offerings), how to join a self-directed (as a facilitator or a learner), what is and how to become a facilitator in agile learning spaces.
1 day per week the volunteers will be at CVCN, Centrul de Voluntariat Cluj-Napoca (Cluj-Napoca Volunteering Centre) for promoting the "solidarity" concept, promoting the project and the European Solidarity Corps, reflecting on the personal development process.
You will have a support network
